We have been pretty lucky this winter with not getting too sick - but the last three weeks have made up for all that in spades!

February has not been our month....the first week Aiden and Ryleigh both had the flu, complete with throwing up and high fevers. We of course were pretty sure what was wrong with them, but because of Ryleigh's bladder/kidney reflux - we called the doctor and they wanted to test her urine anyways. Thankfully she was ok, well except for the flu part :)

Then when we thought we were getting all better, week two rolls around with another high fever for Miss Ryleigh. She didn't have any other symptoms of something else being wrong and I had a feeling it might be a UTI....so we were off to the doctor to check her urine again, poor baby! This time the culture came back positive for a UTI and she got right on an antibiotic. Poor little girl was miserable for a few days and it was so sad to see her grab her diaper and cry whenever she peed :( So not fair to happen to little kids!

Sadly week three started out with me having a 103 degree temp. and a horrible cough, and poor Aiden was throwing up again. Really?!?! I had to go to the doctor and was really sick for about three days - thankfully my mom was kind enough to come over and help us out, or I don't know what I would have done. Of course by the middle of the week Aiden and Ryleigh were both coughing and running fevers too. We tried to just let everyone get better at home, and Aiden did, but Miss Ry was still coughing and wheezing pretty bad after a week and not sleeping....so we had to run to the doctors again. That poor girl is not too fond of the doctors office anymore. Thankfully she seems to be on the mend - so hopefully we can keep it that way for awhile!!!
There has been a lot of laying around the last couple of weeks....which suits our furry friend Gus just fine! 
Although hugs from Ryleigh are not his favorite - he'll take the attention anyway he can get it!
We've also done a lot of reading....
and laying around looking pathetic :(

Awwww!!! So so sad!! Our two little's have been pretty sick the past week and a half, but not as bad is you guys!!! Hope you all feel better soon!!!
Poor little kids, it sure has been rough on you guys!! Ry is just like Natilie, Natilie has the bladder/kidney reflux too and has constantly gotten UTI and kidney infections. And she has gotten them ever since she was young, now that she is older, she is on a preventitive medicine at night that she takes ever day to prevent future infections. and it must be working because when she goes off, she ends up with it again. I sure hope march is a fabulous month for you all and that the sickness is gone for the season!!
