Happy Birthday Aiden...

Aiden Richard Bigler

May 17, 2007

Our little man turned 4 - two weeks ago! Aiden's birthday was on a Tuesday this year and for the actual day we asked some friends to meet us at McDonald's play land for happy meals (Aiden's very favorite thing :) and some playtime! Everyone was so sweet and brought Aiden a present too- which I felt terrible about, since I only meant to invited people to have lunch with us. We are very blessed to have such sweet and thoughtful friends.

This year we decided to not do a big party and thankfully Aiden was just as excited to go to Chucky Cheese's with his grandparents, so that Saturday we headed out!

He can hardly contain his excitement- can't you tell? :)

This just makes me laugh- Ry is trying to get to me while I'm taking her picture...she can be so dramatic sometimes. I wonder where she gets that from...

Ryleigh of course found the only game there with a phone on it and promptly began chattering away!

Aiden and Grandma Nance

Thankfully both sets of Grandparents were nice enough to brave Chucky Cheese's on a Saturday afternoon with us :)

Ryleigh made a little time for snuggling with Daddy....

before she was off again!

Aiden watches Clifford the Big Red Dog and was excited to see him there!

Ryleigh and Grandma Bigler riding the giant rocking horse

Ryleigh really liked the whack'a game- not sure if she was pretending they were her brother or not, but she sure got a kick out of it!

Aiden was mesmerized by this game...

as you can see!!!

He even got his sister in on the action- but she wasn't so sure about it :)

Ryleigh had the best time running from game to game, and loved being in the middle of what everyone was doing!

Aiden and Daddy discovered the water shooting game towards the end and were having the best time racing and trying to beat each other...Aiden kept using his evil laugh and saying "I'm gonna beat you daddy!"

Ryleigh decided that the highchair was for the birds (or babies in this case) and that the table was a much better place to sit- especially when Grandma is watching you and you get to do whatever you want...unlike that mean old mommy!

Ry LOVES horse's- and spent a good deal of her time on this one. She kept talking to it and patting it...I think this girl is going to need some lessons when she gets bigger :)

After all our fun at Chucky Cheese's, we headed back to Mike's parents house for cake and presents!

Silly boy was so excited he missed the first time- funny thing was, there was only one candle!

Opening presents...

Aiden and Ryleigh love to play "Super Heroes" and have me tie dish towels around them as capes- well my mom made them each their very own "Super" capes for Aiden's birthday!!! The kids were thrilled and didn't take them off all night! Aren't they cute?

Super Aiden!

Super Ryleigh!

Waiting for Grandpa Bigler to give him another present!

We are so blessed to have this very cute, funny, sweet and smart little dude in our family!!!

We love you Aiden!
