It's about time...

Well, 2009 has started out very busy- but fun! On New Year's day my family- Mom, Dad, Rob, Kira, Sarina, Aiden and I, all packed up and drove down to Maryland for my Uncle Joe's wedding! Poor Mike is in the middle of busy season (he is an accountant for those of you who don't know) and couldn't get out of all the inventories, so he had to stay home. It took us about 8 1/2 hours to drive there, but Aiden was a great little man the whole way!
Uncle Joe is my mom's youngest brother (by 16 months) and he has been a big part of my life since I was born. My Uncle has been dating Stacey for 5 years now, and we were so excited they are finally getting married! We love our Aunt Stacey!!!
This is the new house they just finished building! We stayed here, and the wedding was held in their living room...it was very nice!

I was commissioned to come up with all the decorations for the wedding- we spent a lot of time in the local Michaels craft store! You can't tell from the picture, but all around the candles are tons of clear beads and diamonds. It sparkled really pretty when the candles were lit!

The cake was very pretty and simple. It had snowflakes all over it!

The centerpieces we made for the tables!

Our family....
Aiden wasn't able to take his nap because of all the excitement going on in the house, so he was tired my the time the wedding started. Unfortunately he had a melt down half way through the ceremony, and had to be removed. Thankfully he went right to sleep after that- so that's why he's not in the picture.

Pretending like we like each other :D

Cutting the cake....

Eating the cake!

Aiden "petting" Stacey's little nephew

We brought some confetti poppers that we didn't use on New Year's- and everyone had fun showering the bride and groom!

Aiden woke up from his nap in a much happier state of mind....

and really enjoyed picking up all the confetti off the floor!

My sisters call him OCD and say it's my fault- he doesn't like things or himself to be dirty. Can I help if I like my child to be clean? hehehehe!!!
Anyways, it was a very busy weekend- but wonderful to see family and be a part of Joe and Stacey's special day! I'm so glad that two of the best people I know found each other and are going to live happily ever after!!!

What a pretty house! You did an awesome job on the wedding decorations. When we get a house someday, maybe you can help me with decor...? :)
